Membership Becoming a Member
When you become a credit union member, you become an owner! Each credit union has what is called a "Field of Membership" or the common bond that members may have together. Your credit union eligibility occurs when your employer, place of worship, school that you attend, family*, or place that you call home are within Kennebec and/or Somerset counties.
Once your membership has been established, the initial deposit into your new account is minimal ($5 for kids under the age of 12 or $25 for anyone 12 years-old and up).
