New Dimensions is Thrilled to Join the Mid-Maine Chamber’s Business-to-Business Showcase in 2023!
New Dimensions FCU will be one of the participating businesses in the 2023 Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce Business to Business (B2B) Showcase-the business networking opportunity of the year! So, what is the Business-to-Business Showcase, and why should local businesses join? We spoke with Bruce Harrington, Committee Chair for the B2B event, to get more insight on what to expect in 2023.
The B2B will take place on May 18th from 12 PM-6 PM at the Thomas College Fieldhouse, which can accommodate the 130 expected booths and will draw over 2,000 attendees. Harrington explains why participating in the B2B showcase can benefit your business and provide an amazing venue to grow as a business professional. He states, “There are several reasons to participate in the B2B Showcase, starting with our current economic standpoint. We are in an uncertain economic time, with high inflation, rising interest rates, and global economic issues that impact everyone locally. Secondly, business connections – your business network – can help your business survive these times as we lean on one another for support and guidance. Plus, you get to meet some really great people and businesses in the area and perhaps show your support for them, which benefits our local community. Lastly, you might find what you are looking for that can help your business become more successful, whether that is financing, insurance, building materials, catering, or dozens of other products and services – you will find it at the MMCC B2B Showcase.”
This year we have chosen to dedicate our booth to the education of protecting your identity. We will explain how to protect yourself from cyber-attacks, add security and defenses, and detect fraudulent emails and scams. We feel this is a prevalent topic that all businesses can stand to learn more about. We hope to see many new and familiar faces of our business community visit our booth, where there will be prizes, financial education, and, most importantly, good conversation!
