Did You Know?
Did You Know New Dimensions Federal Credit Union was established in 1956 and was initially known as Notre Dame Waterville Federal Credit Union? We began operations on August 27th, 1956, out of a corridor at the Notre Dame School on Water Street. Our mission was simple: to provide excellent financial services to the members of the Notre Dame Church in Waterville.
Today, we operate under the new name of New Dimensions FCU, which isn’t the only thing that’s changed since our conception. We have continued to be a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution, but our mission, field of membership, and overall initiative have expanded drastically. We have three branch locations in Waterville, Winslow, and Skowhegan. Our field of membership now includes Kennebec, Somerset, Franklin, and Waldo County. We are committed to being a family-oriented credit union that consistently delivers to our community solution-based products, financial education, and excellent customer service that improves the financial well-being of our members.
We have built a trusted and reliable financial institution by working closely with our staff, community, and members. We will continue to abide by our tagline “Educate. Empower. Evolve” to ensure that we offer relevant products and education to our valued members.
