New Dimensions FCU adopts a formal Community Sponsorship Program
Because NDFCU strives to be a good community neighbor, we offer resources for worthy causes that maintain and improve local communities that we serve. Whether it’s funding that positively impacts students, businesses, and families in the areas we serve to local community events and services for community-building efforts, NDFCU is dedicated to our community.
At New Dimensions FCU, we strive to bring value to the people who live and work in our area and by allocating resources through our Community Sponsorship program, we are able to improve the quality of life of our local residents while making a positive impact in our community.
Through our Community Sponsorship Program, we award funding to organizations and businesses with strategies that align with our key areas of interest. Priority is given to health and educational initiatives and programs such as financial fitness programs and other predominant health/educational needs of the community. Our secondary priorities include economic and cultural initiatives that are designed and implemented to improve the overall health of our community.
We will award funds to organizations that work on various health, economic, and educational challenges in our community. In response to those challenges, we have funded organizations such as Mount Merici, Waterville Maine Street, and the Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter.
While we will accept all applications submitted; applications that include (but not limited to) requests that benefit a single person/family cause, services areas beyond our target area and for-profit organizations will typically not be considered for funding.
