NDFCU Fundraising

At New Dimensions Federal Credit Union, we live by the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People.” Our Fundraising efforts are organized by the NDFCU Social Responsibility Committee (SRC), which is made up of employees who volunteer and organize fundraising events throughout the year to support two causes that are close to our hearts: Special Olympics Maine and the Campaign for Ending Hunger in Maine

The SRC is dedicated to strengthening our community through fun, meaningful, and impactful events. Each dollar raised stays right here in Maine, helping our neighbors thrive.

Upcoming Events!

(Scroll down and check out our Event Calendar below!) The committee hosts creative and family-friendly fundraisers at our branch locations in Waterville and Skowhegan. Some of our upcoming events include.

50/50 Black Friday Raffle– Starts October 1 – Who doesn’t need some extra cash to get them through the holidays. This popular raffle starts on October 1, with tickets available through November 23. The winner will be drawn on November 24. If the amount raised is over $500, there will be more than one winner drawn. The maximum amount will not exceed $500. Tickets will be available at all three branch locations. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Maine and the Campaign for Ending Hunger.

12 Days of Christmas Cash Calendar Raffle! – November 2 – For just $10 per calendar, you’ll have up to 12 chances to win a $100 cash prize, with drawings held each business day from December 8–23. Best of all, winning entries are returned to the drawing, so you could win more than once! Calendars are available November 2 through December 7 at our Waterville and Skowhegan branches. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Maine and Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger. A special thank-you to our generous local business sponsors for helping us spread holiday cheer while supporting two wonderful causes!

Thanksgiving Bake Sale – November 25 – Stop by our Waterville and Skowhegan branches for our Thanksgiving Bake Sale and enjoy a delicious variety of homemade treats prepared by our staff! Whether you’re picking up something sweet for your Thanksgiving gathering or treating yourself, every purchase helps support local community initiatives. It’s a wonderful way to share a little holiday cheer while giving back to our community!

Santa Dollars – November 27 – Looking for a little extra holiday magic? Santa Dollars are back now through December 31. For just $4, you’ll get a festive card, an envelope, and a real $2 bill featuring Santa’s face—guaranteed to bring smiles, whether it’s slipped into a stocking, tucked into a card, or saved as a holiday keepsake. Every purchase spread even more cheer by supporting Special Olympics Maine and the Campaign for Ending Hunger.

Campaign for Ending Hunger

As we are committed to making a difference in the lives of people in Maine, we invite anyone who wishes to help end hunger in Maine to visit the site below and make a donation. There is a tremendous need, and it truly takes people working together to ensure we are taking care of each other—especially in the areas of our lives that are most important and necessary. As an organization that supports MECUL’s Ending Hunger Campaign, we are working every day to raise the needed funding that assists each family in Maine that is food insecure.
