Celebrating International Credit Union Day & Member Appreciation Day
On Thursday, October 15, New Dimensions Federal Credit Union will join credit unions around the world in celebrating International Credit Union Day® while also recognizing the people who make our credit union what it is — our members.
International Credit Union Day has been celebrated since 1948 and recognizes the history and impact of credit unions and financial cooperatives worldwide. This year’s theme is “Cooperative Finance: A Steady Signal in a Noisy World.”
For New Dimensions, this year’s celebration is especially meaningful as we continue to honor 70 years of serving our members and communities.
Red, White & YOU!
Our Member Appreciation theme this year is “Red, White & YOU!” because our members have always been an important part of our story.
Members are invited to stop by their local branch and take part in our Member Appreciation week-long activities.
250 Acts of Kindness
One of the main events will be our 250 Acts of Kindness Food Drive, running Tuesday, October 13 through Friday, October 16. Each branch aims to collect 250 donated items. Members may donate unexpired, non-perishable food or personal care items, and as a thank-you for giving, each item donated earns one entry for a chance to win a $250 gift card! We will draw one winner across all three branches on October 22. We will donate all items collected to local food pantries.
It’s one more way for us to celebrate the people and communities that have supported New Dimensions throughout the years and to continue the credit union tradition of people helping people.

Members who complete a review card on October 15 will be entered into a drawing for a $70 gift card at their branch. We will draw one winner at each branch on October 16.
