Cruisin’ For A Cure Supports Maine Families Through the Maine Children’s Cancer Program
Every year, our Cruisin’ For A Cure Car Show brings together classic cars, local businesses, families, and community members for a day of fun and connection — but behind every engine rev and polished hood is a much bigger purpose.
Did you know that all proceeds from Cruisin’ for a Cure support the Maine Children’s Cancer Program (MCCP)?
As the pediatric oncology and hematology program of MaineHealth Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, the Maine Children’s Cancer Program is the only comprehensive pediatric cancer treatment program in Maine. Located in Scarborough, the MCCP provides children fighting cancer and blood disorders with exceptional medical care close to home, participates in clinical research to improve treatments and survival rates, and supports families throughout every stage of the journey.
What makes the MCCP truly extraordinary is its whole-family approach to care. Alongside pediatric oncologists and nurses, families also receive support from social workers, child life specialists, and other compassionate professionals dedicated to helping children feel like children — even during the hardest moments.
Since its beginning, Cruisin’ For A Cure has raised an incredible $208,313.55 to support the MCCP and the families they serve. Every registration, raffle ticket, sponsorship, spectator donation, and food purchase helps make a difference for Maine children facing unimaginable challenges.
We invite you to join us on June 6 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Waterville Regional Airport for this year’s Cruisin’ For A Cure Car Show. Together, with New Dimensions Federal Credit Union, we can continue driving hope forward — one engine rev at a time.
